Dr. Shaik Mohiuddin

Dr. Shaik Mohiuddin is a distinguished healthcare quality and patient safety leader with over 16 years of experience driving organizational excellence across diverse healthcare settings. Currently serving as the Chief Quality Officer for Al Dhafra Hospitals under SEHA – PureHealth, he oversees the quality, safety, and risk management of six hospitals and six medical centers across the Abu Dhabi region.

A Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE) and a Certified Healthcare Executive (CHE), Dr. Mohiuddin has held senior executive roles, including Vice President of Quality, Patient Safety, and Experience at NMC Healthcare. His contributions have been pivotal in achieving national and international accreditations, leading high-reliability initiatives, and embedding a culture of continuous improvement.

Dr. Mohiuddin’s academic credentials include a Master of Health Administration from the University of Regina, Canada, and ongoing studies in Patient Safety and Quality at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. He has served as an adjunct faculty member for healthcare management courses and contributed to the development of the International accreditation standards.
A prolific speaker and published author, Dr. Mohiuddin has addressed global audiences at several national and international conferences. His publications span topics from leadership in change management to the role of financial literacy in hospital performance.
