
Tina Bennett

Tina Bennett, MPA, is a performance-driven healthcare professional with over 20 years of management experience and a proven track record of success in hands-on leadership, organizational development and strategic planning. Tina currently serves as the Chief Experience Officer for Yale New Haven Health.
Tina began her career at Yale New Haven Hospital in 2005 as a leader in support services. She quickly moved through the ranks becoming a Director of Patient Transport in 2011 leading a team of over 200 staff and leaders. Shortly after, her role expanded to include Community Outreach Programs. Tina led a culture transformation by developing innovative improvement strategies.
In 2019 Tina became the System Director for Yale New Haven Health charged with implementing strategies across the organization to improve patient care and experience. In 2022 she begin serving as the Chief Experience Officer and visionary leader for Patient Experience to elevate across the health system. In her current role she is responsible for the experience across the enterprise while also leading operations of spiritual care, volunteer services, patient relations, and language services.
Tina enjoys teaching undergraduate students in Healthcare Studies which is her way of paying it forward. Through mentorship she continues to foster career growth and development among her students and mentees. She has focused her career on “being the change we want to see”. Tina earned her undergraduate degree in Communications from Southern Connecticut State University and her master’s degree in Public Administration, Health Care Management from the University of New Haven.
