Zeina Kassem

Zeina Kassem is the Nursing Director of the Medical, Surgical, Digestive Diseases, Transplant and Oncology Service Lines at the Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi (UAE). She is a transformational nurse leader with over 18 years of progressive experience in the field of nursing, health care start ups, vision setting, organizational culture, patient safety, patient experience, coaching and mentoring, accreditation, Magnet Designation, quality improvement, talent development and clinical experience in UAE, Middle East and US. Zeina has co-led the conception of the Patient Experience Council at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi and developed strategic initiatives to improve patient’s first philosophy and to optimize the patient and caregiver experience.

Zeina has earned her Doctorate in Nursing Practice and Leadership from Case Western Reserve University in May 2020. She is dedicated to the Profession of Nursing and committed to the culture of nursing excellence, quality outcomes and collaborative practice to achieve patient and family centered care. Zeina is passionate about nurses’ ability to make a difference in the world.
